Parks and facilities are organized into three tiers based on community use and operational importance, with lower priority areas experiencing reduced irrigation as part of the city’s conservation strategy.

Steamboat Resort has set ambitious sustainability goals, including reducing carbon emissions by more than 50% from 2021 baseline emissions, procuring 100% renewable energy, and achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.
